The published plan

Know the field before the first point.

Teams start at the blue boundary bases on the left and right. Home bricks sit inside the field as cover. Every A-half position has a matching B-half bunker, with two shared bricks on the 50.

Crossroads Standard 1.0 field layout 150 by 120 foot paintball field; 50 bunkers mirrored across midfield; starts at left and right boundary centers; low hook snakes along the spectator side. Coordinates refer to bunker centers. Nominal product width/depth envelopes are shown; outlines are illustrative. Dashed Dorito symbols have unverified ground dimensions. The rectangle is the playing boundary, not the netting footprint.

Control Mid

M1 stages the advance; M2 and W offer different ways to pressure the middle. Two shared bricks interrupt direct lanes without forming a continuous wall.

Work the Dorito arc

D1 through D3 bend toward the central fight. Upper pins and cakes support switches between the arc and Mid.

Counter through Snake

S0 leads to E, S1, the Hook, S2 and S3. Separate guard positions support movement. Opposing tips leave a nominal 10-foot gap.

Listings checked October 25, 2026. Prices may change. Shipping, tax, logos and customization are excluded. This is an individual-product list, not an AIRUPS bundle or endorsed manufacturer field package.

Two product details remain open. Small Dorito listings say “5 ft Dorito” but do not give complete ground dimensions. Confirm the base width/depth before final placement. The Tall Can title says 6 ft while its details specify 6.5 ft high; confirm height when ordering. Pins and short cakes both have 3-foot ground diameters; rings distinguish cakes.

Equipment outside this bunker list

A complete venue also needs a suitable playing surface, protective netting and supports, start bases/buzzers, boundary marking, compatible anchors, inflation equipment, repair supplies, air supply and appropriate staging and spectator areas. Quantities depend on the site and supplier. No infrastructure allowance is included.

Place every bunker precisely.

Stand on the spectator side. The far-left corner is (0, 0). X increases right; Y increases toward you. Every value is in feet, measured to the center of the ground footprint. A ten-foot square equals one grid step.

Start A: (0, 60). Start B: (150, 60). Midfield: X = 75. Mirror formula: B-X = 150 − A-X; Y stays unchanged.

A- and B- prefixes identify starting halves, for example A-M1. Call the actual occupied bunker after crossing midfield. Hook decimals describe geometry, not required survey tolerance; fit inflated pieces symmetrically.

Build and orient the field.

01

Mark the rectangle

Mark a 150 x 120 ft playing boundary. Set (0, 0) at the far-left corner from the spectator side. X runs right; Y runs toward spectators. Both diagonals should measure approximately 192.094 ft. Mark the 10 ft grid and the X = 75 midfield line.

02

Set starts, midfield, then one half

Set base centers at (0, 60) and (150, 60). Place shared bricks at (75, 36) and (75, 78). Place A-half centers using the table, then mirror to B: X-B = 150 - X-A. The field dimensions are the playing boundary, not the net-to-net footprint.

03

Orient the upright cover

Bricks, Aztecs and Mini Ws have their published width parallel to X and depth parallel to Y. Cylinders need no rotation. Aim A-half Dorito triangular-base apexes toward +X and B-half apexes toward -X. Confirm Dorito ground dimensions before final stakeout.

04

Assemble the hook snakes

Use eight straight 10 ft AIRUPS Snake Beams. S0: A -45 degrees, B +45 degrees. Hook: A -38.66 degrees, B +38.66 degrees. S1 and S3 are horizontal. Negative angles rise toward Y = 0 as you move right. Hook is a straight beam laid diagonally, not the separate Angle Beam product. E and S2 are short cakes. Opposing S3 tips leave a nominal 10 ft gap.

05

Fit, secure and record

Inflate before fitting touching pieces. Follow manufacturer and venue requirements for anchoring and protective infrastructure. Apply any fitting adjustment identically on both halves. Record the installed setup. Changes to the published geometry should receive a new version.

Verification: 50 placements, 24 mirrored pairs, two shared bricks, a nominal 10 ft gap between S3 tips and at least 5 ft from modeled envelopes to the playing boundary. Only intended snake-junction bounding boxes overlap. Dorito envelopes are provisional. Inflated variation, anchors, netting clearance, actual shot lanes and competitive balance require field verification. This guide is not a venue safety certification.
